I am a life long member of St. Mary's Parish. I graduated from St. Mary's Grade school in 1940. Graduated from David City High School in 1944. I was in the Merchant Marine from August of 1944 to July of 1946. I married Eleanore Janky. We had seven children, all attended St. Mary's and Aquinas High School. Eleanore died in May of 1981. I then Married Zita Birkel, another true gift from God.

I drove a school bus for 27 years for Aquinas. I am now a part time repair man for St. Mary's School. This is sometimes a challenge, but I enjoy I because I like doing repair work and the diversity it offers.
